THE SERVICE By choosing our service you can have peace of mind that your letter will remain confidential and be treated with respect. We appreciate that it may be a difficult time that you are going through or something that has been with you a long time. Bringing the issues to the front of your mind and writing them down, even painful feelings can cease. You can send your letter in a sealed envelope (for more info see tips for writing), so that its contents are never seen by any one. When we receive your letter, we conduct a blessing ceremony. This is carried out at one of our forests as a way of clearing your emotions. The ceremony involves the letter being burnt in a ceremonial bowl. A hole is dug and the ashes are placed at the bottom. A tree is planted on top. A few words or a prayer if you prefer is said for you and the tree. It is a very beautiful service and done with much love. Even though the contents of the letter could have been very negative it is now turned into something positive and good. You will have the knowledge that a tree has been planted as a sign of your new growth and beginning. As the tree grows and flourishes you can have the satisfaction that it was you that started the process off. If you wish we can send you a certificate. The forests we are creating are natural and are there for the wildlife and the environment. These forests are havens for nature; therefore they are not tampered with, have no pathways, and are not open to the public. |
